The Expat Awards have been created to recognize the efforts and successes of the International and Expat community in the Netherlands.

During October-December 2009 exceptional expats, outstanding employers and excellence in service have been submitted for a nomination. From those many nominates, 5 semi-finalists have been chosen by an independent jury of professionals for one of the following award categories. ;

• Expat of the Year
• Expat Employer of the Year
• Expat Service Provider of the Year
